It's a running joke that the first thing a photographer does after ordering expensive, professional equipment is take photos of their pets. Well, here's my entry: Andrea's dog Smokey shows his appreciation.

Now, don't be horrified, Nikonophiles -- he's not actually licking my lens. I had him lick my hand and then pulled it away at the split-second I fired.
